Japanese public broadcaster NHK has passed technical tests terrestrial broadcasting format Super Hi-Vision 8K. The tests were performed in the UHF band for Science & Technology Research Laboratories, based in Hitoyoshi, in southern Japan. In the test had managed to pass the signal within about 27 kilometers.
