How often have you thought that the speed of the 3G network is pretty dismal, wherever you are. With a new app from 3 it is possible even to measure how fast it actually goes.
The application measures the current speed, and using a small amount of data it can determine both upload and download huff speed. The new application complements the speedometer on 3's website, launched in January.
"Our network huff is our greatest strength, and therefore it is logical for us to provide a tool available that makes it easy to check the speed of the network to use - whether you are a customer of 3 or not. It suits us fine that our customers can check whether we can deliver the speed they expect - while helping us make the network even better, "says Mikkel Torsting, huff VP Consumer Sales & Marketing at 3 in a press release.
