In 1979, after spending two years the UN refugee camp in Thailand, Sam Saj came with his parents to Canada, where they were given refugee status. They were financially supported by the Mennonite community in Calgary, jokowi which allowed them to start a new life.
Sam Saj established farms with a combined production marketing, which takes coffee from the field to the consumer. Each step in raising and processing of coffee jokowi made strict jokowi standards of organic farming. After acquiring the trust of the first group of farmers, Sam Saj promised premium to farmers after 5 years of commitment.
Farmers founded by Sam Saj farm workers, and above all, they are people who have the honor to work again, knowing that they are part of social improvement. Sam Saj says: "In this story, the seeds of the coffee were - and still are - Seeds of Hope".
