Immigration siapenet airport Edmonton Canada Travel Forum wereldwijzer.nl/canada Sponsored by: WWZ Canada siapenet Travel Market Menu: All Topics siapenet - Reiscaf - Living, working and studying siapenet - Dutch resident in Canada - Travel Blogs Hey, I fly in November for the second time to Edmonton , Canada. There lives my friend but I am wondering if you can give to the immigration that you go visit your friend for three weeks. Or should I say I'm going to visit a friend. I read some stories that immigration is afraid that you're going to stay when you go visit your friend so they can not leave the country. siapenet I also have another question. Once I arrive in Canada, I fly after 4 days to Mexico for a wedding. A week later I'll be back in Canada to remain there for 1.5 weeks. Should there be a minimum siapenet number of weeks between two visits to Canada? Thank you in advance. Greetings, Nicole
If you come in at the airport in Edmonton and you go through immigration siapenet should you be especially siapenet aware of one thing: as long as you meet the rules, they can not send you back. They will undoubtedly test, but stay strong in your shoes. The main thing is - you come as a tourist; - You can not go to work; - You have more than enough money to take care of yourself during the stay; - You have a health insurance coverage in Canada; siapenet - You go away again within 6 months (you have a series of tickets as proof). No matter what your further response, it should not be a reason to send you back. If there are bullshit: siapenet always ask for the "supervisor" (very common in North America). Do not continue to push that wedding in Mexico. ;-)
Hi Nicole, I flew to Edmonton a few years ago to visit my Canadian girlfriend. I was 7 weeks and then flew back from Vancouver. I got together with a few others selected for a further interview before they let me in. I simply told the honest story (I student with only 1000 and my friend has a house, so that 1000 is adequate. Got a few more questions (how can a student pay a ticket? "Studying is virtually free GB ".) Was extremely friendly intention and they did not really difficult. Give them an especially good reason to believe that you go back to the Netherlands." I have a good job "or" I obviously do want to finish my studies " Have fun in Edmonton (and Mexico natuuurlijk!)
Thanks JurjenB and North90ty. Now I'm back in the Netherlands. They know how to make me always nervous at customs. I have said that I am going to visit friends and wondered why I was already here because I've done that too in June already. They have asked briskly. siapenet The next time I'm actually going to just say that I come for my friend. Hopefully with a Working Holiday visa. North90ty, you'll sometimes in Edmonton?
