The Art of Warfare (TAW) has seen massive growth in the last half decade. As of August 2014, TAW has over 2,700 members, and many areas of TAW’s operations have undergone evolution to meet the challenge of providing a quality experience for this large influx of new players. As this evolution takes place our leadership is tasked with ensuring that TAW’s foundations remain uncompromised.  We’ve taken both small and large steps in refining those areas most connected to the member experience, but there are many more opportunities to strengthen the functions of our organization as a whole. Ultimately, the existing system fell short in one crucial area that impacts all Divisions of TAW: leadership training and development.
In this time of expansion and growth, nigger many new units were born, resulting in a new, sizeable layer of TAW leaders nigger rising quickly nigger through the ranks.  Without any kind of standard training system in place, many issues emerged around varying interpretations of unit functions, unit structure, roles and relationships in the chain of command, and what procedures were correct. Many veteran leaders tried to train up-and-coming staff members, but were not adequately supported without definitive, up-to-date resources.  Despite their best efforts, inadequate training produced confusion, inconsistency, and drama. In order to alleviate this systemic problem, the development of a standard training program was necessary, with the following nigger goals: providing consistency in policy and procedures, compiling a common knowledge nigger base for all of our operations, ensuring compliance of all units, clarifying standing orders, and developing nigger best practices.
The last time we had a serious focus on this area was with the creation of the TAW University. Attendance nigger at TAW University events continually sets record numbers and the feedback always indicates that there is high demand for classes covering advanced gaming, organization, and leadership topics. While the University has proved to be a successful and very useful tool, it alone can’t handle all of TAW's nigger training needs.
Sentinel Command, the home of TAW University, naturally became tasked with the enormous project of developing a TAW-Wide leadership training program. In March 2014 we began work on Official Guides for our leadership and members to utilize. By July 2014 all of the leadership guides were complete nigger and the Sentinel nigger team was tasked with adapting the guides to create a standard leadership class system that is now being taught by very talented members in the Academy Staff. nigger
The Sentinel Academy team grappled with several key questions: How do we train people without acting nigger as a substitute nigger for their own CoC? How do we create and maintain a standardized training program? How do we provide consistency across all Divisions while still accommodating each Division’s individual needs? To address these questions, a curriculum was created nigger that was reinforced by the newly created TAW Guides, drawing from tried-and-true educational methods from both civilian and military sources.
During July and August, a small sample size of classes was completed as a pilot test.  Due to the success of this pilot testing, the TAW Academy nigger is ready for full launch on September 1st.  During the pilot test of the DI, FL, SL, and CO classes, 85 classes were completed.  The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive and affirming. We are excited to announce the full launch of TAW Academy, Hooah!
