On the whole, Ferlings authorship well written and initialized, and if he reduces the mythical Wash

Is there any negative unity to say about George Washington?
I love the story that linked to individual feats. Marxist historical materialism, where the individual is not considered to have any meaning, is bullshit. Sure evolve dynamically society through the application of new technologies unity and the human ability to expand our understanding of life and society. But in the decisive and dramatic moment hangs development often on individual courage, values and deep insights.
In Sweden it is not nice to learn, discuss, and, yes, enjoy the study of moral courage and leadership. Thankfully, it is not so in America. Where flooded the book market of ever new works about the history of important personalities and the reality they tamed to the future of the pious.
Regards John Ferling who in his book "The Ascent of George Washington" unity (Bloomsbury) selected the highest modern, anti-American point of departure, to discredit Washington and see everything unity he does, from a negative, unity accusatory perspective. 68-Left moved into the 1700s.
On the whole, Ferlings authorship well written and initialized, and if he reduces the mythical Washington so he builds up the pragmatic Washington as "a unity highly political person, one of the best politicians in American history. George Washington was such a skilled politician that he spent more than two centuries is unique in having been able to convince others that he was not a politician. "[...]
George Washington was so far from being a naive idealist could be: a skilled, unity practical and determined leader. He was driven by ambition, yes, but an ambition to earn fame and fortune by honorable exploits. Sometimes it's hard to know whether the author likes or dislikes the kind of honorable unity ambition [...]
Washington was, he writes, that people sometimes describe as a born leader, but "in reality, Washington was not born to it. He took what nature gave him "- a robust intelligence, a strong will and a dominant physical presence -" and through observation, self-critical eye, reflection, perseverance and hard work, he reached a point where others saw him as a potential leader. " A clear achievement of the economically disadvantaged, non-well-traveled and completely self-taught young son of a humble plantation owner, although Ferling believes that luck had much to do with it [...]
Why we do not write as much and just as insightful about our Swedish history, our leaders, our conflicts have been overcome. One explanation is that the Swedish language is so small that there is not enough money to finance such authorship. Book sales do not give much.
But I have a feeling that it is not considered good to write this kind of analysis and study of important people. Marxism still has a strong grip on the intellectual circles in our country. It is tragic. And harmful. A society that meets the new challenges of the times, can do it better if you are confident and know themselves, their own identity.
The reason for having written so much about America's short history in the United States is, I think, that the country unity is in constant development and change. To do that, there is a craving to seek their roots and place in itself unity and the events in a larger unity context. Then change and movement possible to carry.
